CEO
Marya Dunkova holds a master’s degree in Slavic studies specializing in Czech language and Bulgarian Studies from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She speaks Czech, Slovak, English and German and studied Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish. She further specialized in translation at Masaryk University in Czechia and at Leipzig University in Germany.
In 2012, she commenced her career as a translator in the private sector, lectured at Sofia University, conducted Czech language courses at the Czech Centre in Sofia, and served as the translator for the Ambassador of Czechia to Bulgaria for 8 years. She has provided translation services at numerous summits, international conferences, and cultural events.
In 2023, she founded Transliterra.
